The Lions Club is proud to support the Dripping Springs Independent School District. This includes funding the annual Boy's State and Girls State legislative experiences, Peace Poster contests, eye care and glasses for needy students, scholarships for graduating seniors, Project Graduation and other special projects.
DSISD operates four campuses serving families over a large area:
Campus   Enrollment Primary School 869 Intermediate School 490 Middle School 814 High School 1,014 District Total 3,187 The District was rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency for '96-'97, '97-98 and '98-'99. Composite SAT/ACT and TAAS scores for all four schools exceed the state average, and have improved consistently since 1991. There are only 15 students per teacher, with a typical class size of 22 students. Enrollment continues to grow at each campus.

Contributions provided by the Lions Club to its many community projects are generated solely via the Club's fund-raising projects, which are manned by its energetic, dedicated volunteer members. Many thanks to the people of Dripping Springs for their generous support.
