The Stevie Ray Vaughan Experience

I have been listening to a Few albums for years and had heard about the tragedy when it happened. I always tell people, I wish I could have seen him play live. Today I found a tape of my older sisters in the back of her video cabinet it was the 83 and 89 Austin city show. I watched with my father whos an old elvis buff and gospel quartet man of 35yrs southern no less.

My father and I actually were speechless and captivated. My father old man that he is finally agreed with me on an issue about music.

SRV is Gospel all his own .... The appreciation we both felt for understaning the magnitude of his Talent makes us feel like we were better people than those who will never get THE SRV EXPERIENCE ( those who see him play and dont get it will never know passion, soul, harmony, spirituality and commitment to the Art.)

I dont blame God for taking him ... God probably held out as long as he could stand it.
