Hi, I'm a SRV fan from way back, and was searching for a good photo for a SRV "portrait" tattoo when I came across your site.

I was fortunate enough to see Stevie in Charleston, WV with Lonnie Mack. Killer show. And I still remember where I was when I heard the news of his death, in Kansas, working in a temp paint-shop as a new one was being built in. It was lunchtime, and my boss made a run to the store, the news came on....and I swear, I lost my breath, my knees buckled.....things like that you never forget.

I just wanted to say that I love and miss Stevie very much......people like him are too few and far between in our lives, and when they are gone.....they leave a sense of loss just as great as a family member.

May his music live on forever,
