The Stevie Ray Vaughan Experience

Unfortunately, I didn't become a fan of SRV until August of 1989. I was an 80's metal head. It wasn't until my freshmen year in college, while walking into the football locker room after practice, that I became fascinated with a certain sound I heard. It was the passionate bending on "Little Wing" blasting through our locker room speakers that made me stop and listen.

I was getting up after a nap in August of 1990,leaving my dorm room, when I heard the MTV news broadcast through my neighbor's open door. I felt my stomach turn, and It seemed like I had lost a new friend. I had only 1 SRV CD at the time. Now I have everything he ever recorded.

If asked who I would like to see in concert, I always reply that I wish that I would have seen Stevie perform just one time.
