Hi, I am RJ and even though I am only 16 years old, I know how much of an impact Stevie Ray Vaughn has had on so many people. Whether die-hard fans or just people who enjoy his music, its hard not to like him. Some people think that he was the greatest blues artist every to come into mainstream, and I have to agree with them. His music is more than notes on a page its about feelings and everyday life. Some can argue that Jimie Hendrix was the all time rock and roll artist ever. That is true, but Stevie Ray Vaughn brought passion and heart and soul into the music. Being from Texas, it helps to put a lot of character and creativity in to the music. I wish that he was still around to share his music with so many of his fans and followers. He is a true legend and I hope that everybody will recognize just how talented and gifted he really was. He will never be forgotten.
