I never thought that anyone could play Voodoo Chile better than Jimi, that was until I heard Stevie. He owned that piece, in fact, I think that Jimi wrote it for Stevie without even knowing him.

A day doesn't go by that I don't think about the loss the music world has suffered. I hope that when I go upstairs, I'll be able to hear him play again, maybe even jam with him.
