The Stevie Ray Vaughan Experience
Eric J. Moss
July 11, 2001

I saw Stevie for the first time around 1989 when he performed with Jeff Beck. I was really impressed with him, but I was to much of a metal head and a kid to appreciate the music. Ten years later my parents buy the greatest hits album and it grew on me fast. I decided to buy myself a Fender Stratocaster and start playing the blues. Stevie not only introduced me to the blues, but he shocks me every time I watch him on tape. I really can't describe the feeling I get from the energy and the sound he puts out. I really feel cheated because I can't see him live. Sadly enough I really think his popularity increased by millions after he died and most of them never seen him play. I occasionally E-mail Mark Kendall from the rock band Great White and he said that Stevie was the best live guitar player he has ever seen.
