The Stevie Ray Vaughan Experience
Erika
June 6, 2001

Where do I start with something like this. My name is Erika, i'm 16, and I've been playing for a little over 2 years i think. Yea that sounds right.

I remember when I first heard SRV and immediately I became jealous, so of course I've been practicing like crazy ever since then (like right now even, try playing Little Wing and attempting to type at the same time, kind of interesting). I definately won't disagree when someone mentions how his music touches people. Even if he wasn't the one that wrote the song, he played it like it was his. I dunno, I can't explain it, and you all know what I mean anyways. Well, anyways Playing guitar is what keeps me going. I wouldn't be around (and if i was, I don't know what i would do with myself) if it wasn't for playin music. SRV was right when he said that it heals, because it does. Guitar's like an extention of myself, I know what he meant and where he came from. Well since everything i can think of right now is prolly something you all know already anyways, i'll stop this ramble-fest and return to ol' guito. I'll be seein ya guys. ;)
