The Stevie Ray Vaughan Experience
I play SRV in my car everyday. I was married to a musician so I've got an insight on the type of life he must of led. He became a MAN after busting loose on his own at a very young age, when you think you know it all but in actuality you are too young to really know who you are and what it's about. As he himself said, he made every mistake in the book. But despite it all he had the talent, intelligence and guts to bring himself back. Just listened to Santana's 1990 video Earth at Peace. He plays some of the most awseome guitar with a backdrop of great USA scenery. Santana is totally amazing. But Santana has lived long enought to cash in on his long overdue recognition. Had SRV lived, we'd be appreciating an even greater talent, cured with time and sealed with his undisputable talent.
