The Stevie Ray Vaughan Experience
Josh Ohman
May 1, 2000

Hey my name is josh ohman... the first time I saw stevie ray vaughn was the original live from austin texas from 1983 every since then I have played guitar and have worked my ass off for 17 years learning the style and grace stevie had for his guitar.. I love guitar more than anything and to be able to play any stevie song on stage send's chill's all through my body.. stevie was a one of a kind gitar player.. he possed some of the most electrifying riff's and lick's... they way he just chopped away at the guitar and beat it to death just blew my mind.. I thought jimi was the shit till I heard stevie.. every time I listen to stevie it's like I've knowin him all my life.. and When i heard on MTV that he died in a helicopter crash I broke down and cried for day's it felt like I lost my best friend and my hole life.. but that just drove me to play even harder and one day i hope to be able to make my own tribute album to stevie ray... SO STEVIE IF YOU CAN HEAR ME UP THERE BUDDY THIS ONE'S FOR STEVIE MY INFLUENCE MY MENTOR AND MY SOUL "DEATH ISN'T THE END IT'S ONLY THE BEGENNING... " R.I.P STEVIE RAY VAUGHN YOUR MUSIC STILL LIVES ON IN ME.....
