Dancing, songs, and overtly sexist jokes were the mainstays of a small troop of vaudevillians of the old school. They tried to carry on with their routines into this decade, but lately they found their work was not much appreciated. They did not understand why until one day a woman in the audience stood up and shouted, "You are nothing but a bunch of male showmanistic pigs."
