Another Frosty Tale

Alec still lived at home as he attained his majority. Since his parents still provided his sustenance and shelter he had a fair amount of disposable income.

He soon discovered that a fun way to dispose of his income was via gambling, and developed quite a habit. Fortunately for him, it didn't take long to hit a major jackpot and he went home with about $300,000.

News travels fast. As he came in the door, his father greeted him and abruptly asked him to turn over 150 grand from his winnings. "Why?" came the obvious reply.

"Because 'home is the place where, when you have to go there, they halve the take you win.'"
