Contamination (Adult Language)

by Alan B. Combs. After posting this on PUNY (Punsters United Nearly Yearly), the following cascade resulted. I wrote the first version of this tale nearly twenty years ago.

Not that I can do it, but I routinely skim the medical literature to try to keep up professionally. Several years back, I came across an article in the New England Journal of Medicine called "Salmonellosis associated with marijuana: a multistate outbreak traced by plasmid fingerprinting", (New England Journal of Medicine 306 (21), 1249-1253, 1982.)

Now this might seem a little esoteric and technical to y'all, but it's not, really. The presence of the bacterium Salmonella is presumptive evidence of fecal contamination of the location where you found it. Thus, finding it in the marijuana is just another example of crap in the pot.

Reminding me of the story of the young man who thought Maryjane was a laxative. He smoked it compulsively for two days without relief for his constipation until his roommate, tired of the malodor, told him to **** or get off the pot.

I hope he remembered to close the lid when he finished. Weed all like to offer Alan a tokin' of our appreciation for lighting up this thread. All hail Alan!!! We Alan Hale in this joint, don't we little buddy?

I can see the day coming when pot is legalized. I wonder who owns the rights to the URL: <http://canna.biz>

The salmonella contamination reminds me of the old Cheech and Chong expression, "Dude! This is GOOD S**T!"

There are some strange customs south of the US too. I remember reading about the Mexican bride's plan for her relaxing holiday. She said she was going to 'marry Juana'.
