During My Army Days
This is from the "Puns, Puns and More Puns" website. The author is not known.
It was during my army days. We were on a ship traveling to the Far East. I spotted a tiny island which seemed like a mass of crags arising out of the water. I asked to visit and was granted permission.
On the island, I came upon a strange sight. There was a gentleman in a tux seated on a boulder. He was munching on a steak and sipping something from a tall glass. Not a word was spoken.
Back on the ship, they asked me what I had seen. "It was truly a sight to behold," I responded. "I saw a beef eater on the rocks."
