PUNgue Twister

From: Dr. Jake Katz via alt.callahans

I wish I had a small truck so I could take advantage of a contract hauling opportunity I saw mentioned the other day. Seems a water- garden company wants a load of frogs delivered, but they have to be delivered in a special bog-like container that will fit in a pickup truck's bed. They'll pay in food, which is exactly what the cat likes best!

For each load delivered, the company will provide one enormous home-baked casserole with a crust of middle-eastern flat bread. Mmmmmm!

That's right: a pita pie per pickup pack of puddled peepers.

Bob Levi added:

Or what about the Italian pasta maker who live in Sicily. His factory overlooked the beautiful Mediterranean and was situated near a lovely Cove.

It seemed that his pasta business began failing. He asked why and his customers told him that they got tired of the shapes that he was producing. The pastas were very traditional -- ones like fettucini, penne, fusilli, farfalle and ziti. So he experimented.

After much trial and error, he perfected a wonderful new style of pasta that look like one of the mollusks found occasionally washed up on the nearby beach in the Cove near his factory. And to honor his wife, Cecilia, he shaped the pasta by hand to look like the first letter of her name.

Of course, people began buying this new pasta shape and would comment on how wonderful the pasta maker was because now he sells C shells by the C shore.
