Television and Marital Discord
Today's cartoon (10/8/00) (posted with permission) has a lineup of the usual suspects sitting at the bar.
The complaints are running about how television is ruining the quality of life of the men at the bar. Because of soap operas, one person hasn't had clean underwear in a couple of weeks. Another's wife quit cutting the grass because she is watching romantic chic flicks. Another never gets supper, anymore, because his wife is glued to the tube.
