I happened on your Austin Axis Guide to the Blues. A 'reader comment' on W.C. Clark is that they don't call him the Godfather of Austin Blues for nothing! We saw him the first time 3/16 and the show was great. I bought his CD 'Heart of Gold' (Black Top Records) that night and it is pretty good, too.
