- I lived there for two semesters...I hated it! The Castilian is filthy.
Every weekend, the elevators (which frequently break down) are filled
with broken beer bottles. The Parking garage is cramped. The halls
usually reek of marijuana. If you want to live in a dorm where they
don't really care where or when you get high, pick the Castilian.

- Cooperatives provide much of the same amenities as dorms but are way
cheaper. This is because the members do all the cooking, cleaning, and
maintenance of the co-op. Members also control all of the house's
policies democratically.
- Besides getting to know people, co-ops can be a real learning experience
about running a business and understanding group interaction. Downsides
can be a lack of privacy and having to interact with too many people at
times.
