I have not had an opportunity to go there but I have had a few people from Round Rock tell me this is "THE" place to get donuts.

Is Classy's in Round Rock the one with the yellow donuts?

Special Bonus Section -- Best Donuts Anywhere

Chris Kiser (2/21/96)
While there are none in the Austin area, my favorite place for donuts is Krispy Kreme. Whenever I visit my parents in Biloxi, MS, I always make it a point to stop for some fresh donuts that melt in your mouth. When I was in high school, selling donuts from Krispy Kreme was always a great fund-raiser.
While not officially a "donut" I would have to rate the beignets (square donuts without a hole) from the Cafe D'Monde (Sp?) in the New Orlean's French Quarter very highly and a must stop after a late night (they never close). P.S. Try a cup of chicory with an order of beignets.
James Anderson (6/15/96)
No, it's not in Austin, but Chris Kiser is right! The best doughnuts in the world are made by Krispy Kreme. Check out the KK in Daytona Beach next time you're in Florida.
