This place is my personal favorite place to get bagels in Austin. Consistantly flavorful with a great texture. I just wish it wasn't down by UT (not convenient for me, I go once every couple weeks and get a bunch to freeze) and I wasn't served by a young lady with purple hair!

My favorite in town! Drop by early in the morning for hot bagels fresh from the oven. A brand-new New York City transplant was very impressed by their offerings as well.

My second-favorite bagel place(s) in Austin. Generally good taste and texture, though they seem to "stumble" once in a while. Multiple locations (including a small stock at Whole Foods) make them more convenient than The Bagel Manufactury. Their 'bagle of the day' flavors is great for variety. They also make bagel chips (yum!).

Regarding: Bruegger's Bagels, on Guadalupe, in Austin, Tx;
This place charges New York Prices, but the bagels are just not cutting the cheese for me. There is a hint of chewiness, which i love, but I am simply overwhelmed by paying multiple dollars to get a Tiny Little Itsy Bitsy Bagel. It's a miniature Bagel. It's a tease. And some of those freaky flavored cream cheeses scare me half to death.
Also, by the way, Any bagels sold ON the UT campus are guaranteed to taste like rocks.

I tried 'em once...blech! Maybe it was because I caught them near closing time, or maybe they were just having a bad day, but the selection I took home just didn't hold up the other bagel places I usually go to (Bagel Manufactury or The Bagelry).

New Your Bagel & Deli has opened a new shop up at 183/Anderson Mill.

Feed back on "New York Bagel Shop and Delicatessen"
Reconsider the "blech" statement
That place 'ROCKS'
Their bagels are incredible, if I were you I would go back and try it again.

Having just returned from NYC, my vote would be for H&H Bagels on 617 W. 46th. Besides the fresh warm bagels, H&H has bialies, which I would kill for. A baker's dozen go for $7.20, they do have an 800 and will ship UPS.
